Top 3 “Must Have” : Seoul Travel Apps

Top 3 “Must Have” : Seoul Travel Apps

Below are the top 3 must have apps when traveling or living in Seoul. These apps are free and will save you time and money.

Subway
unnamed-2
Use for the subway in the following cities ( Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, and Gwangju)
Languages supported are : English, Korean, and Japanese

Google: PlayStore
Apple: App Store

SeoulBus
unnamed
Search any bus number route, by entering in the number. The app even supports realtime data of arrival of the bus. You can search for the nearest bus as well.

Google: PlayStore

OsmAnd
unnamed-3
Offline maps with turn by turn navigation. I prefer this app, because  it gives walking and driving directions unlike google maps. The free version allows 10 downloads, so make sure you download the offline Korea map first.
Also this app even works on the backstreets of buildings which I wish I had last year when I was using a Microsoft Windows Phone.

Google: PlayStore
Apple: App Store

Drone Update – 9/8/2014

Drone Update – 9/8/2014

Finally got back around to building my drone. I ordered some motors, propellers, 30AMP esc, 2 aluminum flat bars and a Lipo4 battery pack.

The overall challenges to get to this update:

-Drilling the holes correctly.

-Finding the right screws

Note: The motor mounts are a standard #4 not a metric #4, which throws out Home Depot for having that.

Picture of the drone, before I tested it.
